– Inspired right from the new XE sedan

– It is one of the most attractive SUVs cum crossovers

– More in line with Audi’s virtual cockpit theme
– Overall material quality is quite good
– Driving position is spot-on
– Front seats are well contoured
– Offer great lateral support

How it drives?
– replace the old 2.2-litre motor
– 77.5bhp feels adequate for this 1.8 tonne vehicle
– delivers power in a smooth, linear manner
– this 2993cc engine is much more refined

Should I buy it?
– If you can afford it then you definitely should.

HYUNDAI ELANTRA

Hyundai was for a while the best-selling sedan in its segment. It was able to beat heavyweights such as Skoda, Volkswagen. Now, after 4 years, new Elantra has arrived and it seems even more impressive and promising.

BMW 730Ld REVIEW

BMW 7th series, being their flagship, It is expected to serve intense amounts of luxury while offering loads of technological advancements.

It aims to cater those who want best when it comes to luxury and comfort.

How it’s inside?
– All new interiors reveal fresh design lines,
– dual tone shades along with silver inserts,
wood trim,
– touch slides below the air-con vents,
– tablet that comes off the rear centre armrest,
– auto air-con with four-zone air-con control,

How it drives?

ELECTRIC VEHICLES COULD DRIVE THE FUTURE

Why everyone thinks that electric cars will evolve to survive in the future and fossil fuel powered cars might get lost over the time?

Electricity is turning out to be the most usable form, be it the iron that presses your clothes or the geyser that warms you up. The ease of converting electricity into the required form of usage has made it the most important source of energy. And cars that run on regular fuel will naturally move towards harnessing electricity as the primary source of energy.

Tesla has built everyday cars that run on an electricity. The new generation of electric cars are not only stylish but also practical.

Moreover, electric cars are one of the most efficient automobile. The losses are much less compared to other power sources, with the mechanical parts and linkages at the bare minimum. The electric cars are around 60 per cent energy efficient whereas that of the ICE car is about 20 per cent.

And then at the end of the day, we all know, fossil fuel is limited.

VOLKSWAGEN – A NEW DEALERSHIP IN NAVI MUMBAI

Director, Michael Mayer, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said, “With an inauguration of our new showroom in Navi Mumbai, we will now be able to reach out to even more customers in region. With Volkswagen Navi Mumbai, we are aiming to provide world-class experience to our valuable customers keeping in-line with Volkswagen standards.”

Volkswagen has expanded its dealers’ network in India by inaugurating a new dealership in Navi Mumbai recently. This new facility is located at Nerul and comprises of both – a showroom and workshop.

It (showroom) is located at Plot No. 23, Sector No. 1, Nerul & spreads to an area where 10 cars can be displayed at a time. On the other hand, the workshop, is at Plot No. D 396/1, TTC Industrial Area, Kukshet, Nerul.

The service area is fully equipped with spares stock and trained technicians.

AUDI TT RS LAUNCHING IN UK VERY SOON

Audi had showcased the new TT RS at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show.

The luxury carmakers’ have revealed that they will be introducing the Audi TT RS supercar in the UK by the end of the September. The users will have an option to choose between Coupe and Roadster variants which are priced at Rs 46 lakh and Rs 47.5 lakh respectively.

The Audi TT RS model is powered by 2.5-litre, five-cylinder engine with 389 bhp of power and 480Nm of torque unlike the one which generated 331 bhp of power and 450Nm of torque. Customers who are opting for the Dynamic Package Plus can expect a top speed of up to 280 km h.

In comparison to older one, the new Audi is 26 kg lighter and also sits about 10 millimeters lower than an entry-level TT model. The interiors feature fine Nappa leather combined with the TT RS sport leather and Alcantara steering wheel.

To enhance the experience of driving, the vehicle is equipped with Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system which offers Comfort, Auto, Dynamic modes.

THE NEW MAHINDRA BOLERO POWER PLUS

Mahindra pulled on fast one by bringing in the Bolero Power Plus with very aggressive price tag, new engine, and of course new bumpers. So, here is a brief down of all you need to know about the new Bolero Power Plus.

The New Mahindra Bolero Power Plus will be offered only with the SLE, the SLX and ZLX trims of the Bolero. Its front bumpers resemble the Scorpio. The rear bumper also sticks close to the tailgate. Its bumper design has helped Mahindra beat the magic number of four metres with the length now down to 3995 mm.

Mahindra has modified the interiors as well. The beige and brown theme continues to be present but the seats are offered better for comfort. The steering offers better manoeuvrability and a digital instrument console.

Another change is the new mHawk D70 engine. Mahindra has replaced the age-old 2.5-litre oil burner with latest three cylinder 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine.
Mahindra has passed the savings to buyers with Bolero Power Plus SLE now at Rs 6.86 lakh, SLX at Rs 7.51 lakh and ZLX for Rs 7.85 lakh.
